I work for us foods and my Insurance isn't bad I would call it average 80/20 1500 deductible and 200 bucks a month so not bad I don't know about mclane

I think us foods is better than mclane. We have a lot of guys where i work that quit and came from mclane. I haven't met any from us foods...that tells you a lot

The thing about USF that is better is it’s mostly early morning shifts which is a daylight route and even on extraboard you get full weekends off. Most USF is home daily. McLane has more layovers. McLane is tough cause of the schedule being all over place but mostly nights. Sat night is what night you mostly get off cause that’s the only day our warehouse is closed. Unless you get a bid route. We do mostly night drops. Which a lot of people don’t like. I like nights doing this type of job. Empty parking lots are a lot easier especially with a 48”
I think both companies are good companies to work for. Management at both companies were really cool. You definitely get treated better then Freight. Each has their ups and downs nobody’s perfect.basedinMN_, Wrecked_Harley, truck_guy and 1 other person Thank this.
