Used to run 93 all the time. Never had any problems. It is barren. Not a lot of services, cell signal. Traffic minimal. Road is/was in good shape.

I hope you don't lose your CDL for asking for info about a topic BEFORE you blow up your career. LOL.

I love US 93. So beautiful.

The single most common posting on the forum I see is alo g the lines of "I just signed lifetime contract with ABC Trucking & leave for orientation in the morning. Are they a good company". This "now that I've jumped off this tall building I was wondering if I should make a parachute or maybe just flap my arms?" Or, "I've been taking CBD for 3 years to help me sleep better and I just failed a drug test. Should I switch to X or just tell my company I didn't know CBD sold in a gas station could cause me to fail a P test"?

The OP are super careful, ask good questions, and more importantly ask those questions BEFORE they make a decision. The majority of newbies don't ask ANY questions until they jump off the "tall building". That's what my comment was sarcastically referring to.

I think you missed the mark on that prior post. I think most did not read it the way you intended.
The follow up post does have truths.

Well then, thank you. One advantage we have is that we have the the benefit of age and life experiences. We were both 50 when we decided we were going to attend CDL school.

I've tried to compliment you guys @Nahbrown from the start. You guys are doing it right. If you are ever confused by my replies, assume I'm still a big fan, and my sarcasm was a joke that bombed.

If you have any extra time and can pull off the highway and catch some sleep, you will love it. No traffic, windows down, cool crisp air, beautiful sky full of stars, no noise, that's heaven. Try it, that's part of trucking.

To your original post, I would encourage you two to get off the interstate any time that it pencils out to do so. There is so much to see away from the freeway.
