The freight isn't property of Holland; it belongs to the customer.
If the freight isn't moved, then Holland will lose the customer.
If the customer is lost, Holland may have to lay off drivers.

The YRC contract with the union allows use of contracted trucks when no union driver is available. The terminal has to allow any union driver to bid first. It makes up a small percentage of total routes. I see mostly O/O trucks at our yard for that but it could be anyone’s. YRC also hauls freight from other carriers occasionally.

Have to renew my Hazmat to apply to any of them.... -
