I guess it all depends on what your plans are for your future in trucking. If your plans are to stay OTR then flat bedding could be a great way to stay in shape while away from home. But keep in mind if your plans are to eventually find a local gig your probably gonna need some experience with dry van. Local requires a lot of backing and bumping docks so most companies would like to see some experience doing this. Best of luck to you.
