Thanks. I will look out for that with the loads. My uncle who's a trucker talks highly of them. He does a lot of regional work and doesn't like to go too far out.

Well sorry to hear of your circumstances @Coolbreezin because from what I hear from a buddy of mine who’s been in the dump division for over 10 years now is that it’s a much better run deal, loads are paying better on the tonnage and you don’t have to feel pressured to do 2 every day because you can make a decent living now without having to. Sucks you turned over, especially with a frame dump, I’m sure that wasn’t pleasant, did it take the truck as well?

I seem to get picked every 2 years and they always remove me from the list and thank me for doing this job.
The problem you had with the trailer abs light, I’d have delivered the load first and dealt with it after. Regardless, it was your call and new driver’s tend to do everything by the book because they’re scared of everything.
Once you get some years in you’ll understand what I mean.
Cypress vs USX.. from what I’ve seen on the road USX seems to have better looking equipment. Unless you really want to jump into flatbed work then stay put. Put in the necessary time required to get on with Walmart or something similar and enjoy the security.ducnut Thanks this. -
Be sure if you leave us xpress to make sure you don’t have an outstanding balance for anything. Call the accounting department. They put an 80 dollar dot physical bill on me and I didn’t know about it and it got sent to collections and went on my credit. Worked there for 2 years. Such a nasty move on their part.
ducnut Thanks this.
