I'm sure he won't have a problem finding another job...
As long as he keeps his CDL clean ... These trucking companies are a dime a dozen, none of them want to pay so they play these little games
US Xpress's new driver policy is UNREASONABLE

Reread the first posts (that look doctored) And Ill look forward to the next thread about the next bad company you get into. Trucking isn't for everyone (or every situation) You'd probably do better in a local position if you insist on sticking around. Just my 2 cents.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
USX is vindictive towards their drivers. I know because I worked for usx. The shippensburg terminal office staff has a lot of animosity drooling from their mouths towards their drivers. I actually did not feel comfortable being there because there are some very sketchy people there. The company barely has it together and their operations is a plethora of a s..t can of worms.

You might ask an employer if you can be off more time but you sure don't TELL them.
Typical employee with an entitlement mentality..all they owe you is a paycheck. When folks figure out how to work in the ADULT world and that they don't run/own the company and that there is a 1000 people standing in line to take their job they might get along better and have a better attitude.carramrod32 and flood Thank this. -
I did reread all of it and what I see is this
he doesn't like BS yet he's exmilitary.. ?
thinks usx turnover rate is to high..... yet usx turnover rate is about avg. for the trucking industry
now to the point.... he was fired for not going to work (when in training) because he had family business.... see that "family business" not "family emergency" and just what was this family business he had to do...? go to the bank and get out some money to pay BILL's..... something he needs to do at the end of each month..!
must be to lazy to set up auto-pay or internet banking, I pay all my bulls when i'm on the road
he didn't even finish training and hasn't been in a truck in 11 months,
I wish him well IF he can find a company that will take him......TruckDuo Thanks this. -
There's plenty of truck driving jobs out here -
US Express was the first company I worked for. I was told training would be around 3 weeks, but ended up out for 8. So, the fact you went home after 3, I think you got lucky. I did work for them for a full year though.
