Just go 99 to 58. 58 to I-15 South then jump om 10. MUCH, MUCH better highway. Go that way a lot.
F the 210 & The Vine & I-5 humpy bumpy BS pothole wrong end of an artillery range highway. -
Bypass?

Run at midnight..take which ever highway tickles your fancy..
Woodys Thanks this. -
You can always take I-5 down to 138 through landcaster and palmdale to the 15 then back down to the 10
Woodys Thanks this. -
Also if you take the 580 out of the bay area you will avoid the tolls to get back to I5
Woodys Thanks this. -
40 to Kingman 93 south to Phoenix

Go the shortest route no matter what, traffic back ups can be anywhere, find a good radio station, get in line, few hours you be on to the next delimina.

This is my backyard. Do 5/46/99/58/I-40/95/I-10. This way you bypass any traffic except for Bakersfield and Barstow, which is usually decent. Palmdale is terrible as is Hesperia/Devore/Redlands. Have fun. If you want to bypass the Az. POE at Ehrenberg which is under const and very busy, enter Az. at Parker and go Az. hwy95 to I-10. Then at Buckeye, Az. go hwy 85 south to I-8 E. This will get you around Phx traffic which is really bad
DougA, laaylor, REO6205 and 1 other person Thank this.
