it came to my attention in a post a few minutes ago that USA has bumped back 1st year pay by .01.
i read a post saying they start you out of training at .27PM so i decided to check on it, sure enough the website proved it to be true.
old pay scale was; .28 0-3 mo., .29 3-6 mo, .32 6-9 mo and .36 after one year.
couldn't find the in-betweens, but the USA website now says start at .27 and get .35 after one year.
i wonder is it the fuel prices, the fact that supposedly we didn't turn a profit last year(according to safety from all the ins. claims), they aren't in as bad a need of drivers as last year, or a combination of any or all?

Thats still much better than the .21 cpm I got as a newbie back in 1992 (old JB actually held back a penny for a year too as an incentive to stay a year). I had to wait a year to make it to .24 cpm then 1 penny per year after that. My how things have changed.
