Oh and I just remembered, if you ask for time off a few days earlier than you actually want, it helps. (try asking for Wednsdays if you want to be home on a Friday) -

I just got out of the cdl school for the drivers solutions / usa truck program.
I went to the C1 training school in ft worth, TX. And they were kinda unprofessional.
The instructor in the classroom did not teach much. I had to teach my self everything.
Even the instructors on the yard would kinda let you figure things out on your own, while giving you a few tips every once and a while.
But I think USA truck is going to be a good company to work for.
Right now I am waiting to get my hard copy TX license. I hate how TX does not giver you your real cdl right there at the office.
I bet a bar in MD would not let me drink with this paper cdl.
So you guys are saying that USA will have us take out home time with an empty trailer on the back of the truck? I have a big field behind my house where i could park it.
