I use a Hauppauge TV HD Stick USB 2.0 TV Tuner with PVR. Works great. I use the antenna that came with it and it does the job. You can use any antenna you want though.

I got one of those things off ebay a couple years ago. Never did get the darn thing to work though.
As for broadband, I use Verizon. -
I obviously can`t read
I have a 4g stick with Verizon. Works great. Some people use their phone, I prefer a separate stick. Just me though. -
Usb tuner works ok
Some are sensitive some are not
Biggest drawback it the setup time/scanning time. It takes 5 or 6 minutes to see if you get reception. A usb tuner does help reduce clutter a bit, and can be great in a short sleeper with the bunk directly behind the seats (nearly zero storage).
I got a good $100 tuner. I get about tye same stations other guys seem to get with a tv (parking varies tons) and just a few feet can add or drop a station, as can traffic and other trucks. Not ideal, but nice to get live tv. I usually watch stuff i downloaded on i-tunes/internet/dvd. Live sports or news is the main use for my tuner. -
I compared the top four wireless broadband services and Verizon came out on top with the most coverage area and they have more WiFi hot spots also.
