USDOT: Anyone looking to file a DOL claim, complain or sue Chicagoland companies?

My guess is they plan to put every dollar in their pocket and not pay a single dime in taxes. Who cares about the IRS when you don't plan on staying in the country?

Or someone that has garnishments on their income that get taken from a W2 check but not from "business" income 1099.

 

Factual anecdotes about how someone has done things, especially since the anecdote is wholly germane in the context of the particular discussion is hardly arrogance.

You could point at a few members here and there that probably fit the bill, but long fld is not in that camp.

More to the point, your refusal to back down in the face of reality is showing its own lack of humility, and you know that bulleted list that shows things indicative of narcissicism... arrogance, the opposite of humility.

Ok bud. If I’m arrogant I’ve earned the right to be. I learned my lesson when I was 21 and kept my driving record clean since then. I didn’t make choices that would later put myself in the position of working for a bottom feeder company later in life. Nobody owes anything simply because they’re a CDL holder. And you are correct, I don’t have empathy for people who end up in a situation due to their own poor choices. Those are called life lessons. I could end up flat broke and I’d be man enough to say that my choices put me in that position. I wouldn’t be looking to lay blame at the hands of someone else. We are all in control of our own lives.

 

The initial point from the start is FLD willingness not to comprehend or acknowledge the facts that it's impossible to to guarantee that a driver or o/o could determine whether or not a company will 'rob, steal, gyp, swindle money' from them etc..etc..when signing a contract with intense research from due diligence. That is beyond arrogant to think that way and extremely ignorant as well. I could careless about someone bragging (again note that's another trait regarding the narcissist personality disorder when someone consistently "Brags" about one's own accomplishments continuously) Point being, the shoe fits and he even admitted too it so what are 'You' really saying?.. Another Grown man obtaining justification for another on a forum along with the initial individual admiting they show no sympathy shows arrogance alone under the umbrella of what a 'Narcissisti is'. I rest my case. No further response is necessary because now it's beyond humorous for the majority to read.
