It doesn’t look good but I wouldn't say it looks bad either. Especially if your authority is under a year and running 1 truck.
I did pass on a carrier today though because it said they had 12 trucks but had only had 1 inspection. The office was just someone’s house too which isn’t a massive deal but collectively I decided to pass. Especially with people tripping over themselves to find loads, it wasn’t hard to just find another carrier option. The load was based out of CA too and I’ve found fraud is rampant out there, especially with double brokering. So that added to the equation as well. -
The only violation I've ever had was on 5/28/19. A ######## chaffing brake hose.(it wasn't) No citation, but a was noted on the level 2. So I'm still somewhat confused how the system works with so many inspections, yet no rating.. -

SingleScrew I’m not sure either now that you point that out. I got 8 truck inspections and 15 driver inspections plus 3 haz and mine says none as well.

Fake statistics I guess..... anyways I run at night when I work ....
shatteredsquare, mp4694330 and Derailed Thank this. -
You get a safety rating when you have an audit done. Not the actual level 1/2/3 roadside inspections.
Tx Countryboy, fortycalglock, Long FLD and 2 others Thank this. -
after audit. New carriers are supposed to have a audit done within a certain timeframe to get permanent authority. -
Back when I got mine, it was within your first 6 months, they were fairly easy going compared to what I have heard about when a company has enough bad inspections or accidents or any other reason to trigger one.
Tx Countryboy Thanks this.
