used belly dump trailers - what to look out for

Just a side note make the switch in the cab different from the others so not to open the gates by mistake, if it was me I would run a dedicated hot wire from the cab all the way back to the solenoid valve, some times the original wire will short to another hot and there go the gates open!!. This happened to me a on coming trk gates opened we were both going about 60 it broke both windshields and all head lights it was base material, what if it had been the fist size rocks they use for drainage and had been in rush hour??

 

Can somebody help me when my 94 cps is loaded it won't open to bump but will open when empty any input from Any body

 

94cps, if it was mine the first place I'd be looking at in that case would be your air rams. If it will open without a load on the gates but won't open with a load on them I would suspect some bad seals or worn cylinders.
