Used trucks with accident reports.

    depending on age, most trucks have been in an accident at some point. Tow away isn't necessarily a red flag, but something that requires follow up.. I'd ask what was damaged and where it was fixed. Call the shop to verify and then inspect that area of the truck yourself.

    Hell, use it to your advantage to negotiate a lower price. You know, hidden damages and all that kind of stuff.

    Not sure but I think they list it as a towaway if the wrecker has to hook to it at all.(i.e. to pull it out of the median, pull it out of the ditch, etc)

    Hmmm sounds like it may have been a car hauler or either it was riding piggyback on a flatbed trailer when the accident occurred? (maybe being towed by a wrecker?)
