Using a quality GPS data tracker in court to fight a ticket!
First of all let me begin by saying I am not trying to sell anything! I use the listed equipment in my post and wanted to share the idea with others for their consideration. I have noticed a increase in the numbers of people using a real time dedicated GPS data tracker to successfully fight and win against a bad or unjust speeding ticket in court. I have such a device I installed in my truck. My GPS data tracker is the size of a nutshell and can be installed with the supplied magnet in seconds under my seat. My GPS data tracker is self powered and will store 6 months worth of driving data. I know some cell phones have a GPS type track app in them, but courts have rejected cell phone GPS data information when used for fighting a ticket because of the way the data is collected. The time between readings on a cell phone app. is too spaced out for the courts. Most cellular phones have GPS tracking features, but are not as reliable as independent GPS tracking devices. This is because they depend on the location of cell towers for their operation, and they do not have comparable memory capacity to store travel history or track in great detail.

the key to victory in court is first proving the accuracy of GPS tracking readings, and, second, proving that your GPS speed reading was at the same time and place where the police officer is alleged to have captured his radar or laser reading.
You must have a dedicated second to second GPS tracker to use the info in court. I remove my tracker unit and download the data into my laptop for viewing. The data collected is AMAZING to say the least. My tracking data software uses Google Earth and also displays a second to second readout including a speedometer. The units data collection is so sensitive I can even tell by the speed reading as to when I shift gears when driving. I can see where my truck has stopped how long and even view my chosen parking space at the mall, or the spot along side the road where LEO had stopped me to give me a ticket all independently actual time and date stamped by a U.S. government satellite system.There are many companies that sell this useful product, and they cost about what a radar detector does. I highly recommend others reading this post to consider buying a dedicated GPS logger for use in their truck. I think this is a usefull tool in the fight against LEO!. The data collected by a tracker unit is not transmitted in any way. YOU decide to use or not to use the data in court not your company. It is your CDL and lets face it your company in most cases could care less about defending you!. If you are guilty just don't present the trackers data in your defence. There are 24 satellites at work in the U.S. Department of Defense GPS tracking system. When a GPS tracking receiver gets a lock on three or more satellites (the earth itself is considered a 4th satellite), the reading is considered accurate information by the court system. These multi million dollar satellites are far more accurate than a video system or even a police radar or laser unit. And again YOU decide to use the information or not. the key again to having a victory in court is first proving the accuracy of GPS tracking readings (easy to do), and, second, proving the GPS speed reading was at the same time and place where the police officer is alleged to have captured his radar or laser speed reading (tracker data clearly shows your speed, location and time). The information from a GPS real time tracker is a useful, accurate and independent way to help in fighting a unjust speeding ticket in a court!.
