    Is it against a rule to use the email address on the SAFER site to inquire for employment?

    I'm asking about an individual doing this with good intentions, not a company or recruiter.

    I don't see anything wrong with using the email address on the Safer site---it's part of the public record and don't believe carriers are required to give an email address. Hopefully your email won't end up in the spam box. A friend of mine has a couple of dirt hauling trucks and has DOT #'s etc. and he complains that robo sales callers get his phone number from the FMCSA sites.
