I have been using dat exclusively for Van loads.

There are certain times that I don't see what I'm looking for and I'm wondering if anyone else uses two load boards for that reason.

I figure that even if you picked up one load a month from the second load board it would be worthwhile paying for it.

If you do use a second one what is a second good load board for Van loads?

I also subscribe to Truckstop.com, formerly known as Internet Truck Stop or ITS. I have their less expensive version. I think it is $39.99 per month. Recently, It changed its graphics and might be more user friendly but the content is not much different or better than DAT. Perhaps more TQL, Schneider, Swift, Werner loads. I just have it but If given a choice of only one load board, I'd choose DAT.
There is 123 loadboard, well designed and has some well thought out features but does not have as many loads as the other two. I booked maybe two loads from it in 2 years. I cancelled the subscription about a year ago.

Im with Joe, for van loads I use DAT and ITS as a back up. I do not recommend any one else does this. :)

Same ad Joe. Dat, cheapest Truckstop subscription and few direct broker apps

I canceled truckstop last month. Only use DAT now. It'd be very very rare I saw a load on one and not the other. I used them both for a year. Truckstop has this feature I hate! Brokers can see if you looked at their load and will then call you. If I was interested in your load I would've called on it. I am open deck freight though. Which is weird cause everyone says truckstop is better for open deck. Myself, I didn't notice the difference one bit

Well. That feature I actually thought of as good or at least potentially good. It means that they call you because they need you. But most of those calls I ever received were from TQL, so theory did not apply in practice.

I must be in a really great area for Convoy, because I don't use any load boards. Granted, 90% of my loads booked through them are in the same lane and direction, but it just works well for me and it's free.

Yeah, I’ve never had any luck with them out here.

I haven’t had much luck with them anywhere. All I ever see in the East on Convoy is 5 stop loads. I’d rather deliver freight on a bicycle.

Yeah I can see why. I just did a search from a couple east coast cities heading west and the rates are horrible. Some out of Florida to CA for around a buck per mile. That's just pathetic.
