I notice you're from CT. I'm from just north of Danbury (New Milford to be exact). We moved down to GA last spring.

    Good luck with USX.

The light at the end of the tunnel is sooooo wonderful to see. Do you know where you are upgrading at?

I'm currently doing my second tire run from Ardmore in a week. This time I'm headed for Chicago so will be staying in Markham tomorrow night. I love these tire runs because I go right past home and always seem to have a few minutes....LOL...last week I stocked up on a few supplies and today I got to visit my house, hug my son, sit in my swing, and grab a shower.

I may be upgrading in Irving. My finishing cordinator told me they just started doing upgrades there. That would be nice because no BUS ride. I will talk to my cordinatot tomorrow and I could dropped off Saturday. We will see what happens. We pulled a load from Ardmore and dropped it in Little Rock the other day.

I am not a happy camper tonight......my load dropped at the Ford place in Chicago....I HATE this place.....so tight, no room (last time I got stuck between a trailer and a jersey barrier and a yard dog had to move the trailer out of my way).....trash containers in the way and I got a scratch on my fender!!!

Was going to go to Markham but ran out of hours and am now sitting in the overflow trailer parking lot.

WhooHoo!, back to back to back. We ran from Sterling CO to Kansas City MO with 42,000 of dried beans then met a TeamOne team that was out of hours to grab their 1000 pound load going to SLC. We dropped in SLC early this morning and slept for three hours and then got a UPS load going to the Bay Area. We have a preplan to dead head to San Bernardino and pick up a load to Albuquerque. We are moving non-stop. We also got a chance to stop by the house last evening and took one of our daughters out to PF Changs for dinner then we grabbed showers at home. Very nice. We also had a great experience at UPS this morning. We dropped our load and went to the back lot to get an empty. There was another USX team sitting hooked to an empty with another empty about 4 trailers over. It was the only other one. The other driver told me the trailer I was about to hook to had a flat and since we had a load in three hours we could have his since they were not leaving for 12 hours. How cool is that? They were going to call breakdown and get the flat fixed and pick it up later.

We got lucky, The team one dispatcher was a nut and told her team to head West on I70 instead of heading up I29 to I80 so we had to chased them down in Topeka. That meant we got to stop by the house in Loveland CO and we also got to take Hwy 287 from Fort Collins to Laramie bypassing I80 between Cheyanne and Laramie. Worked out very nicely. Sucked going from 82 degrees at 3 AM in Kansas City to fueling at 8 PM in Laramie at 27 degrees and snow....all in the same day.
