Went down to lobby this morning and everything was good for tonight. I guess the girl missed it yesterday. I have been studying today for upgrade test, and relaxing. It feels so nice to have slept in a bed that dont move. LOL. Have a great day everyone.

Hi guys...I am in day 3 of my training. I ended up getting a trainer with a 2011 Freightliner Acadia...Very nice truck but a 10 speed. I have really been struggling with my up and down shifting. Backing seems to be progressing nicely.
Today we dead headed from VA to GA. I drove about 600 miles (great hours today) to get a load at Coke..get there, they say it's not ready call in couple hours. We go to the rest stop and call them they say it's already been picked up by another driver this morning....WOW...I am learning so much..I have a SUPER GREAT TRAINER. Just love him to death. He is really patient and a pro driver!!

Sounds great Sheila. I am glad things are working out. Better then the other day when you PM me. I take my upgrade test tomorrow.

How long is the upgrade test? Someone told me its 2 days? Or does it depend on how many people are upgrading? I start that tomorrow in Irving and my friend starts his tomorrow in Springfield once that is done the fun begins. I was hopping we would upgrade at the same terminal since we are going to team. This makes it a little harder cause we dont know who is getting the truck. We want to get an inverter and cb in the truck before we head out. See what happens tomorrow.

 

when i did the upgrade (7+years ago) it was about 2 hr's.

make sure you tell them you are teaming and who you are teaming with and were they are upgrading so they can get you two together.
