Been sitting in Salinas, CA since late this morning waiting to get loaded. Par for the course here but will be glad when we get loaded and out of here and heading to MD, where we will sit for who knows how long waiting to get un-loaded at Taylor Farms...LOL Good run though, God willing we will get out of here soon and unloaded quick once we arrive.

Thanks. We are looking foward to the new adventure in our lives. I wish you and your wife the best. Maybe one day we will run into each other and have a meal together.

Sitting at the Petro in Waterloo, NY for the night. In my (team) FM's infinate wisdom :biggrin_25521:, after running a full 11 hour shift today from Beavertown, OH to Baldwinsville, NY, they tried to give me a p/u for 8 pm in Rochester, NY delivering to Detroit, MI at 1 pm tomorrow. So, I sent back that I was out of hours and couldn't p/u load and that this is NOT a team truck (since my mis-adventures of trying to get a team partner). They messaged back to get load. My reply? "So, you're telling me to run illegal?" Haven't heard anything back from them since. No load, nada. Stuck in NY hell-o. Ugh!

I do know I will be solo until after my hometime next week. I also know I'm not asking any more if they have someone for me. Let me be solo, run for a couple months and then just see what happens when they try to put someone with me then.

It has to make you wonder if they even read what you sent them with them telling you to pick up the load, don't it??

They may have meant to go ahead and pick up the load when you can. Normally when they send me a load like that I just send back a msg telling them the date and time I can p/u the load. Then I go to sleep and don't worry about it anymore.

Good idea to not keep reminding them about the teammate thing. With a company this big they might just overlook it as long as you do good.

Well it's official. I am now a trainer. I already have my trainee's name, but he won't know until tomorrow. I feel kind of bad that he's probably sitting at the motel wondering if he's been accepted or not.

Already have a short load for tomorrow and a PP for right after that. I feel like I've been sitting forever...LOL

Trainer class was pretty easy and only half a day. I was glad to see Rhonda was running it. She's the one who does the DriverTech classes here at TH. She makes it fun and she really knows her stuff. She's a real driver.

Half a day? What did they teach? "Here is the number to call when you want to kick the trainee off the truck" congratulations on the trainer status, but it is my understanding it used to take a good bit longer

Btw the number is 1-423-510-*&%$ lol
Or if that doent work call
