Flood.....why do I need to call safety????
Correction on earlier post (I am terrible with dates).....got my CDL on April 1, 2010.
Now, I would like to know who is sabotaging me getting home on time (Sunday 8am)?????..................delivered at Walmart about noon...dropped the trailer and they wanted a lumper fee!!????...spent an hour getting that taken care of, making a total of almost 2 hrs there between dropping, the check, new trailer, and getting dispatched to pick up new load.
New load PU time was 2:00, 14 miles away......left Walmart at 2:20, get to new load about 3:15...got loaded, told dispatch I would deliver at 12:00 instead of 6:30am, and headed out....scaled the load, went 4 miles down I88 and a trailer tire blew....limped back to the truck stop where I presently sit waiting on breakdown.
I'm guessing now I won't make it home until sometime Monday morning....the Walmart DC is about 170 miles from my house...it's about an 8hr trip from here.....and there is no way I'm leaving here in the wee hours of the morning just because my 10 started at 6pm, especially since I'm waiting to get my tire replaced.
USX drivers...how's your day??
