Hey usx fam...do I need any medical records even if I don't have any medical problems?...my recruiter has been really short when answering my questions about what to bring to orientation next weekend. I just don't want to get sent home for something I could have prevented. I really want to get hired.
Thanx

the short answer is no you don't.
but with that said in the morning call and ask for the recruiting supervisor and ask them just what you will need to bring and tell them why you are calling (your recruiter is not being forth comming with the info) they (the supervisor) need to know if they are not doing their job...!
when we went o/o we had to deal with three recruiters before we found the one that would answer all are questions.marquardt72 Thanks this. -
I filled out an app online and still no word from them
whats the best way to get on with them online or by phone
what are the chances of training with an autoshift -
training in an auto is not going to happen.. YOUR first truck maybe an auto but right now all training is in 10 speedmarquardt72 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info Flood

My recruiters attitude and demeaner is not going to deter me from becoming part of the USX team/fam, but you're right, I think I will call a supervisor or a different recruiter to make sure I got everything I need. I don't want to waste time and money when it could been prevented.

Finally made it home last night, but it was one crazy day............after my tire got fixed at 10pm, I told my FM that I would deliver by 2pm...he says "OK".....got to within 90 minutes of delivery and got told I couldn't drop and the appt had to be reset......so I had to turn around and drive an hour back to the E. St. Louis drop yard and now I'm thinking "How am I going to get home??? No way are they going to bobtail me 350 miles."................Well, my FM asked "Do you have a secure place to keep a trailer??" I said "Sure".......picked up a trailer that was supposed to deliver in Springfield (70 miles from my house) on 5/20 at 11:11 and am babysitting it for the week.....LOL......(for you newbies, 11:11 means there is no time set).............so I got paid for coming home and I have a load to deliver when I head out on Friday.
About 100 miles from home I get a phone call saying there was a tornado in Joplin and the system was headed right down I44, right toward me!!!!!........fortunately I only had some bad rain and a little hail about 40 miles out and got the truck parked just as I ran out of hours.
The tornado took out about a 25 block area of Joplin, hit the hospital, tore down the high school...I saw pictures where trucks were in the median down at ext 8 (my exit is 18) -
How can I find out for sure????.......was going to buy my fridge and a new microwave while I'm home and get them installed in my truck. -
Go to the Weather Conditions forum and check out the Missouri tornado thread. The Flying J is just 7 miles down I44 from my exit......was going to go there today and send in my trip papers.
