Sitting at Fedex in Rock Island. Load to Kent WA just cancelled. 1850 miles ...dang it. They have put the same load on us for tomorrow but are trying to find us something for today,

 

Have an awesome time at your sons graduation. We just went through that last week. So weird to no longer have any kids in high school.

 

its been awhile since I have been on here but finally done with orientation and all that jazz. After doing the roadtest in an automatic, I am SO SO glad I got a manual when I got my truck. I personally hate the automatic, it takes forever to kick into gear from a stop and everytime I go in reverse it jerks like I'm hitting something, but thats just me. Anyway I got on the family dollar dedicated in Duncan, ok but they need help in Denver doing the coors runs so I get to help out for a couple months. Awesome miles and nice scenery. Anyway stay safe out there and have a good day

Heading home. Yay!!!!!! Picking up are load in Ontario,Ca and heading to Horsham, Pa and then they will get us home from there. If any one delivers FedEx in Oakland check for empties. We were told to sit out on the street for an empty. We sat all day and check once with them later. The next morning we went back up to guard shack and the women told us they dont drop on the street that they have a drop yard. Turns out trailers were not there either, and they were in a different lot. We lost 2 loads because we had no empty. What a waste of time. I have had my fun in Ca. Had dinner last night with my aunt and my cousin. I have no interest in coming back here. My team partner has never been out here so he can take this state off of his list.
