Well if I figured things out right we ran just a little over 7000 miles last week. Bought a portable scanner so we don't mess up again and not get are trip sheets in on time because we couldn't hit the truck stop. Tried it out today works pretty good. I am hoping this week they can get us into a terminal so we can get are inverter installed. I installed the cb myself, so see if they slap my hand. Is anyone with the new Freightliners having problems with cruise control? It seems to be hit or miss. Other then a couple minor problems and it doesnt like to see a hill when you have weight in the box it goes pretty good. The DEF is a pain and that stuff makes a mess, hopefully soon you can buy out of the pump. I am not sure how we are saving the enviroment using it when you have all the plastic containers and boxes you are throwing away.

wulfman75 Thanks this. -
i heard there are some truck stops that do have the DEF at the pump..
only problem i have had with the cruise is sometimes it picks up movement in front of me from the vorad system and it shuts it off...
i was thinking of getting one of those scanners myself...did you get yours from the company? -
I bought it Staples. I tried it out today works pretty good. Transflo sends you an email confirmation also. I don't like that, the first time it did that to me I was on the highway and going around a curve when a bicycle came into path and #### near locked the brakes up. That was my first experience with that.

haha...right, i was crusing and a car move over and it shut down and i thought my daughter was gonna get thrown from the bunk...lol, she came up front to get onto me for hitting the brakes so hard...i had to explain what happened

Thats funny. My team driver is a little hard on shifting and braking. He drives midnight to noon shift. One night he almost threw me out of the bunk, and the next day I had that incedent with the bike. I wasn't trying to get even, however it was funny how it worked out. He is getting better at shifting for the most part.
