hi just recently graduated from new england tractor trailer training school (MAY 13) got my license (last Monday) , the day i got it i went crazy and filled out alot of applications , of course from having no exp the only ones i heard back from where swift and usxpress. figures,. i received an email from usxpress with prehire and i called in and spoke with a recruiter that didnt seem to give me alot of info and didnt seem to car and told me whenever i was ready they would send out a bus ticket , on the other hand swift called me, the recruiter seems very nice explained to me pay.etc . she told me that they would look into my records etc ,after that process is done they can send out a bus ticket ., so im stuck dont know which one i should go with . i live in Ma so usx gives me more options and they have better pay. and also im alil worried about going to orientation and actually not getting the job i dont do drugs and i should pass the physical im only 23. What can possibly make someone not get the job? i have a decent job now and cant afford to go to orientation and not get the job. any help

Don't lie on app, pass physical, drug test and their BS road test and you will be fine.

Regardless of RECRUITERS promise you do not get the job until they actually hire you.

I wouldn't waste my time with US Xpeeeees. Any little thing wrong they send you home. They sent me home because I had a shoulder injury 3 years earlier. This is after road test and everything. Try Schneider. But if it were me I would go with Swift. After Scheider.

you know,i thought about this question for a bit.NO i know nothing of either swift or usx fwiw. i see an awful lot of swifts pass usx.that would matter to me if i were a new driver.heck,it matters to me and i am far from being new. I know nothing about driving for a large outfit but since you asked,i think i would drive for swift.as far as i know(hear actually on the cb),swift doesn't use automatics.I know for a fact that swift trucks look much better than usx.85% of the usx trucks i see do not even have an external sun visor.how messed up is that? why would a driver even notice such things?

well drive long enough and you will become most observant and hear lots of things-
