USXPRESS newbie review and RANT!!!!

I've been a driver for 20 plus years . You weren't around when Arrow shut it's doors and drivers lost their jobs in the blink of an eye. You haven't experienced the truly bad like driving for a company where 6 drivers went through a scale house in Lamar, Colorado and were all shut down and the DOT people decide to stop every truck from that company who were legal and hold them up, giving them the third degree.

You haven't experienced being in a toll booth with a tractor and trailer catching fire in booth next to you, so don't tell us how bad life is for you.

Here is a newsflash for you. US Xpress is not perfect but it's better than many. Your at your first company and your quitting, probably thinking, " I have my license, I can go anywhere", it's not that easy. What are you going to tell another company??? My trainer had bad body odor, I didn't get any miles, I didn't like this, didn't like that, had no choice but to leave", any recruiter that actually is a real recruiter, who is looking to hire real drivers and isn't interested in just filling seats and there are many like this, not all, but many, isn't going to give you the time of day.

Your an inexperienced driver, how many options do you really think you have? perhaps you need to leave and try CRST, I hear they overlook whiners, because that's all they cater to.

You probably need to re-read or just read my original post.. It was more about LIES which didn't sit well with me when I'm being honest with the company.. FIRST IMPRESSION is still a rule I live by and iam not sorry for blasting your company for being dishonest.. But I've learned and have moved forward with USxpress, difference is now I know what I'm dealing with. When you are a newbie out here you learn learn and learn some more while processing that info and move forward.. I Realize years ago it's useless trying to reinvent the wheel so I ask questions expecting some truthfulness but I have learn some people just wasn't raise that way.. Oh, and to address your misfortunes over the years, dude I'm a cancer survivor!! Enough said!!

Just a heads up. There is nothing wrong in replying to an old post if you are wanting to add to the conversation. But, pulling up an old one to insult a member is not okay and a bit ridiculous. The majority of your post is fine actually, how about you try one without the insults? If you really have 20 plus years experience you will be a valued member to this forum but make no mistake, no amount of experience will buy you much leeway with insults and provocation.

Also I'm job searching everyday I'm on this slave truck and I must admit I got a lot of respect for the large company drivers because, man can they take the dick these companies are shoving thru their rectums constantly.. If you think I'm kidding go to Schneider Facebook page and read how they are loving their $500 per week for 70 hours of work and they brag about the company making record profits and in the "elite status" of the trucking industry. Makes you wonder if they took the blue pill Morpheus was offering.. Anyway if there is someone reading this post thinking taking the plunge into this abyss I will say you have been warned!!! Oh I was warned also but didn't listen because I over thought this whole process in the beginning by jumping from review to review and thread to thread and didn't heed the warning in the beginning..

Yes, but can't keep drivers on those accounts; that's why they have recruiters in cdl schools all over the nation.
