USXPRESS newbie review and RANT!!!!

SOOO true about WST... wife's 2nd cousin working there... and maybe even training; not sure tho.... she talked about it a while back. I've also heard about KnB.... nothing bad. I second this, and I'm totally not as educated as you, in this industry, China.
Personally, USX was a stepping stone for me in the early 2k's..... I had no problems...but that was then. They actually haul for one of our local Dollar Generals (Werner does the other one) and the guy that does it (Doyle) has been on this route, for 9 years.. Just touched base with him last week.

 

30 years and he works for Usless Xpress....ok.... I cant even properly back straight, nor speak english right and I net over 1k a week. See where the problem is?

 

But he doesn't have to worry about immigrants taking his job!It's called job security I believe.

 

Immigrants don't take peoples jobs, but illegal immigrants do.

 

If he's working 70 hrs a week he should be getting more miles.What's he doing work wise when he's not driving?

 

Supporting another secret family?

 

Who knows, a high cents per mile isn't always a good thing except for the company but the drivers don't necessarily get the miles to match the pay.

 

I have a hard time believing anyone that says they only get 1000 miles a week. The truck doesn't break even until about 1800 MPW and USX isn't in the business to loose money. So I'm wondering Who did this guy piss off to be sitting so much? Is he refusing freight? Is he taking out a ton of advances? Is he hiding money?
