I just tried to book a load for my plated Utility trailer and the broker said that they can only accept Wabash or Great Dane trailers because of the dimensions. Can someone explain what he means?

What the broker is trying to say:
1) He doesn’t feel comfortable giving you his freight.
2) He is holding out for someone better to come along.
3) He can’t legally say reasons One and Two so he throws an excuse out there, he believes you’ll bite on.
Sounds like fish on to me.86scotty Thanks this. -
Thing is he never asked me for my MC # nor did we ever discuss a price. Convo started and ended with is your trailer plated and if so, what is the make?

They probably need 101, 102 inches wide or whatever

There was a thread here several years back where someone posted a rate confirmation that instructed the carrier to specifically NOT send a Utility brand van.

No idea. What year is it?

Was it a can load

Nope. He needs a plate Wabash or Great Dane. Because inside dimension is different and bigger than utility. The difference is 3/4 " . I was pulling loads of empty beer cans before and could not fit 2 bundles next to each other in Utility trailer.Tombstone69 and mp4694330 Thank this.
