Hoping I am wrong, but the one difference I see is that all of the other places also have facilities (however minimal) in texas so you actually work for a texas company as your tax base. Loop hole city. Anyway I will find out Monday and let y'all know ASAP

I found this on the trucker taxes forum. Many in that forum are saying the company is required to withhold and make deposits but that when you file state income tax you can also file for an exemption. I am just speculating now, so let's see what they tell me in orientation.

My thoughts are that they have people who know exactly what and who to pay.
That said, I'd have a tax person look at it at the end of the year.
    Best wishes UTG.

No idea what you think you are talking about.

Do I remember what happened to me? Yes. Is that what you mean by "butt hurt"? Because I dont care about what they did, nor do I care about what you think. Im just relaying what happened. No different than if I told about a good experience. Would you like to hear one? I have plenty. Just because someone remembers something from their past and retells it to someone as a piece of wisdom so they will know what to look out for in their future is what YOU call "butt hurt"? What would the retelling of a good experience be to you I have to wonder? Butt pleasure perhaps?

Ok, if thats what you choose to call it I guess. Have a nice life, already given you more time than I probably should have...

@UturnGirl Hmm It's been an man's dominion for the 42 years I've been in the business. I don't see that changing. DO NOT let that stop you from taking a job you WANT. If I had listened to all the naysayers when I started I'd STILL be working 3 jobs with NOTHING to show for it but a tired body and discouraged mindset.

That's bizarre. I drive for Climate Express who is based in Missouri, so you've seen us around. I live in Tennessee and I've never paid Missouri taxes. Even when I filed on TurboTax it bypasses state taxes automatically.

That's a weird setup they have in Texarkana. Actually, Texarkana, Arkansas residents do not have to pay Arkansas income tax. That was put in many years ago to keep everyone there from moving across the street to Texas. They get theirs though, as property taxes there are Texas high. You won't have to worry about paying any Arkansas income taxes.

    bryan21384 and UturnGirl Thank this.
