I know you guys hate them, but Heartland Express's Texas Only Fleet was one of the best jobs I have ever had. Out Monday, home on Friday. Sams Club DCs drop and hook only. Zero complaints. Only quit because we moved back West.

I liked the GPTransco guy too. But then he used the term, Ontario Calif Terminal, and I went on down the road.

Have you looked at dump trailer options. I had a friend who worked with one and he would load/unload mainly between 0500 and 1600. Many places didn’t have set delivery times and delivery schedules weren’t super tight. He ran like I like to. Up at 0400 done around 1500. Could have easily bumped it back a bit and ran 0600 to 1600 pretty consistently

Page ETC does a lot of dump work. They’re based out there of New York but run all over. I think they’re more o/o based but they used to have some guys that had multiple trucks leased on. You could probably go to the bulk/tanker/dump forum and ask about your neck of the woods. The folks around me are mostly small to midsize fleets but I d ont think many get out your way. However there has to be folks around you doing similar stuff. Lots of different commodities run in those dump wagons. Maybe consider hopper bottom too. I did tanker for awhile and it was low key and not hard work. That push all night JIT mentality seems to be less present in the bulk area so that might be a place to look to avoid the issue with the overnight driving.

I was thinking about hopper bottom, no shippers and receivers. No cities
