    Hang in there UturnGirl, after bouncing around and becoming somewhat of an expert at becoming employed after the factory closed in 2008 i can assure you that from my limited time in this industry it has much more bs attached to it than others. It is certainly a grind!

    Pay. Lanes. Compared to other companies. I can't afford to chase unicorns right now. Oil fields, cement, belly dumps, off loading cargo. Night shift. All beyond my physical prowess at 71 yrs of age. Local salt water and other hourly not enough pay for where I am right now. Same for mega like jbhunt. Tiny companies make me nervous. 1099 is an absolute no.
    If wfx turns out to be another hellscape, there are 2 more offers just like it standing by. Otherwise, if it is tolerable and profitable, then if wonder job that takes months to land comes along I will be able to endure the wait.

    Also, I'm prepared to eat crow if it doesn't work out. I've eaten so much by now I've learned to make gourmet dishes from it.

    Ok you are just about done with orientation if not done already. What are your initial thoughts on the company after orientation? I know it is too early for full review but firat thoughts would be great. Also wheres the new thread
