I am awaiting a paper from my DR so I can return to TMC for my back problems and I really hope I get to work for them. But if not im looking around at others. I have read alot of bad about so many companies or they just dont pay at all its very sad actually.I am looking for more companies that have the VA Apprentiship program and one with no mandatory sleep study testing. TMC has both of these luckily thats why I hope i get to come back lol. Every other company i research all have sleep tests or no VA programs. Any advice you guys have would be great I really want to get working asap. And yes I am a new driver but i do have my CDL with all endorcments

I spoke with a recruiter from A&R logistics(bulk hauling) and they seemed like a decent company and have VA programs, not sure about sleep study. Also maybe Maverick. Good luck with everything.
-
Yea I've spoke to maverick other then automatic trucks they seem good. But they do require sleep studies

I heard all bigger guys have to do it. I just got out army I have a very muscular neck and broad chest but not over weight. A friend of mine half the size had to do one with Schneider. So I'd rather be safe then sorry lol. My back gives me enough issues so dealing with that is something I don't want
Freddy57 Thanks this. -
And maverick recruiter warned me on phone that they do it very often

I did my sleep study at the VA and got my machine from them. This was 6 years ago.

Yea I did one in army to. But I don't want nothing to do with it with these companies. I can't use these machines I tried before and it messes my sleep up lol. So I'd rather avoid it all together
