that toby guy must be a real idiot--10 years and he ois only an expert?
hel lots of guys here with less than year are experts--after the year of course--since they are experts, now they are expert trainers well----then after --say 7 or 6 yrs--they have shown their expertese to at least 12 different companys--cause they are just that good that everybody should hire them---well for at least 6 months

No book, video, or amount of classroom or behind the wheel training can totally prepare you for every situation out there.

I am still learning, after 10 years behind the wheel of trucks and buses, and 17 years behind the wheel of a 4-wheeler

    To clarify:
I was 4.5 hrs late on cut time and made the difference up over 1859 miles till I blew an inside cap on a 25 ton loaded trlr
1.75 hrs from drop with the outside tire not looking very promising from the word go.

Naah, but they were left with two customers that were extremely PO'd
and shortly turned the move over to another reliable carrier.
Offers of a $.27 increase over a few weeks failed to sway my opion of wrong doing
($2.97 round trip aint nothing to sneeze at)

Not sure what ever happened to the dispatcher and station Mgr after the dust settled.:biggrin_2559:
Kinda hate to say it,but there is a better class of folks when you get shed of the door swinger, dock bumper side of trucking.

ESPECIALLY NOW,its sad to see what that side is doing now-a-days:biggrin_25513:
I believe whats left of trucking is still thriving in many respects
If it involves door swinging, all bets are off.
