The amount of charge-backs to the driver are ridiculous.

My favorite has to be: $50 charge to driver for "abuse of phone numbers". They offer a list of phone numbers for everyone from Safety to the President of the company. I suppose if you call the wrong number enough times you get charged. Maybe just one wrong call. I don't know.

The other charge-back is the $100 charge to drivers who do not get any inspections, good or bad, in a month. I suppose it's my job as a driver to help you clean up your CSA score. Any violation is also a $75 charge-back.

Something about charging a driver money to be a company driver makes me sick.

 

When I saw that at orientation, I said "thanks, but no thanks." The recruiter was salty about it but I told him- "let drivers know upfront about the charge-backs, and you wouldn't have to worry about people dropping out at orientation."

The good thing is that the orientation was online. I was almost on that bus to Buckeye, AZ.

 

The recruiter said that's where the HQ is and Google confirms it:
