almost went to work for them when we lived in Mi but i cant remember why we decided not too...we ended up at MC Van Kampen instead....before marv died. we drove for an ol boy leased onto them....(van kampen ).

but yeah furniture out and produce back....nice equipment...they used to haul a lot for Hayworth out of Holland. i used to see their trailers all them time when i took empties and picked up loaded trailers there when i ran local for Koleaseco for about 2 years....

That was sad about Marv dying. Had that nice home on Sanibel Island just off the coast of Florida; had the dream life. What happened; a heart attack?

Not to hijack the thread but I noticed you mentioned Koleaseco, I was wondering if you know how they are to work for??? They advertised down here in Florida and the equipment looks nice on the web page but a little inside info goes a longer way then pictures!!! Thanks for anything you can offer!!!

ya know its been years since i was there...when i was tho, no issues with pay, kept his equipment in good shape, i ran local and hubby had a dedicated run for them from Mi to FL he hauled produce down and flowers back. his backhaul usually had 8 or 9 picks...JP (the owner ) is a nice guy.. i dont know if he still owns the co. or not, i am sure he does. teams ran out west and the solos usually stayed on the east coast...he has reefers and dry vans..any other questions, ask, doesnt mean i will know...lol but you can always ask....

Thanks Giggles, that helps!!! I was thinking of calling but so many companies look at Fl. as a really bad place to end up but if they have stuff this way maybe it would work out! Maybe I'll give them a shout Monday and see what if anything they may have!

I used to work for Koleaseco. It was the worst company I ever drove for. Most of their trailers are junk, they don't like getting things repaired on the road. Yes JP still owns the company but he put a man named Jon U in charge. He used to work for Gainey as operations manager when they went under.

I know this is old but Van Eerden looks pretty good and deserves a bump

I am delivering to them right now. The trucks looked nice and the drivers clean cut so I looked them up.
They are advertising avg pay of $76 k/yr and 401k.
They also say all the trucks are late model Kenworths with 86" sleepers.
I am from California and this just may be the company to get me back there.
