been a while since i posted here, still had a couple weeks vacation time here at gstc and decided to use it(half way around the world), and just sent my application in, i called tim earlier in the week gave him some of my background info, so im hoping for the best. the way things are going at my present company, i think its time for me to make a change, and i had some prior experience at transam in the late 90's, so i guess i wont be much of a stranger to the loooong waits at the meat houses, lol.

just a couple more questions about the eqipment, ive been reading about the truck having sirius radio's and fridges in the trucks, so i guess they really go the extra mile on spec'ing them? sounds a lot beter than the coffin-sleeper volvo 630 i drive now.

 

The radios have sirius capability built in, but you'll have to activate it with your own account (and, of course, pay for it ). And yes, the fridges are factory installed. Apparently the Volvo's fridge wins "Biggest Fridge" contest, but my KW fridge does the job just dandy.

 

13 spds, 3.55 rears in the 2009 thru 2011, 3.42 rears in the 2012's ... Suckinnns , sorry Crapiunns, sorrry again, Cummins with 455 thru 485 HP.... extra gauges in the newer trucks without the Navi screen!!! 4 Power Outlets thru out the whole truck... yeah we Spec'd pretty good...

Just the EPA stuff that i've had nightmare experiences with which they try there best to get fixed compared to some companies who would just make you ride with it!! Best probably some of the Best Company Trucks out on the Road today!!

In other news, i'm going to sleep good one of these days that i get a break... I had a Drop in Jefferson, WI friday, went to pick up in Brillion, WI, took that back to the Yard, Left the Yard went to Storm Lake Going to Columbia, MO and now off to Beardstown, IL to go to Albert Lea, MN for the Morning!! #### have i been rolling!! Hopefully the load is ready once i get to Beardstown... I've visited this Cargill beauty before and lets just say it took a while before i got going!!

And hopefully my truck is ready by the end of this week... There waiting on a Spindle Bearing from Eaton and says it should be in by Monday or Tuesday, if not i guess i have to bite the bullet and wait some more!! Driving OTR with XM is HORRIBLE!!! FLAT OUT HORRIBLE!!!! Welp off i go.. yall take it easy

 

@ the Stamart in Fargo waiting to final out at Super Valu tomorrow morning. Never been here before. Nice place, but holy ####, some of the most intense racist, white supremacist scratchings in the bathroom that I've seen in a long time.

 

Lol. That's one of the best things about OTR work. It's amazing all the creative bathroom art you get to see.

 

Spyder hope things work out for you,not saying it doesn't still happen bit with drop trailers some of the waiting at meat plants has gone down. Trucks are very nice here,an APU would be nice but I do understand the $ issue.

 

Just sent my application in over the weekend, and checked in with tim, just hoping for the best, just hoping millis or my present company didnt put some false bs on my DAC behind my back for leaving, so im hoping for the best.
