    Just got the call from tim to verify my cdl, and to get a fax# for the release, but told not to put in my 2 week notice into this company yet.(gettingnervous, chewing nails, pacing back and forth, hoping things go through, j/k lol:biggrin_2556:)

    Got a couple other questions, im probably jumping the gun since my application, but ive been curious, about the qc elogs, does it have a color screen with a graph, like i seen on the qc website, or just the text based numerical display? Right now im on the peoplenet system and its the text based deal.

    And these truck radios with the sirius, do they have the usb port or aux input on the front? I seen a kw with that kind of radio, i think delphi makes it, im thinking i could plug an ipod into there so im not toting a big box of cd's all the time.thanx.:biggrin_2559:

    Man them APU's would be SWEEEEETTTTT!!! I'm willing to bet they would cut down on our Maintenance Costs!! I'm willing to bet most of our trucks failing are due to Over-Idling and plug up the DPF..

    And Spyder, i do know all of the Newer KW's have those newer radios with the AUX jack and USB Part.. I'm currently in 704 and its one of the older KW's and it has an newer radio with AUX jack and USB but it's possible the last radio failed and they swiped it out. The first two older KW's i had didn't have the AUX jack..

    and yes are E-logs are equipped with an Graph...

    Thanks, ive been trying to get a hold of tim so i could give him the fax# for the papers, i swear i hate anwering machines.

    Got everything faxed in, and got the word from tim that he would call me as soon as he knows something, so just hoping for the best, and that there isnt some unknown bs in my background check to mess things up.

    Likewise my friend. Good times at my local John Deere dealership! I'm all set for orientation May 7th in East Brunswick, NJ to be a daycab container yanker! I'll be running out of the Bethlehem rail yard.

    Well, got word from tim, sez my application looks good, just needs to have a truck available, other wise id be sitting in orientation and not making money, so far so good.

    Oh dear God, you're going to be a can jockey! Is it for one of the mega fleets or a smaller outfit? I guess that makes sense though since that area is a hotbed for rail and sea intermodal. Have any of you fellas picked up in Salisbury or Raeford, NC going back to Front Royal? Cory called to let me know that was my next adventure after I get my last stop off at MDI in Hickory, NC.

    good old MDI....been there a couple of times, the first was during my first winter of driving with schneider, then i got sent north where i got stuck in the blizzard of '96 up in wv. what a way to lose my winterdriving cherry lol
