#### Larry, I'll be right down the street from you at Berkshire Warehouse in the same Industrial Park.. My last drop will be in Cudahy, WI just south of Milwaukee once i get these pallets of tomorrow morning. Hopefully i'll be empty by Tomorrow afternoon so i can get a early jump on heading to Sheldon..
and Larry i will agree, 90 all the way across will be the best route but i hope you have something to keep you awake, that's probably the most boring interstate i've ever been on... Especially across Minnesota

Hey all.
Just wanted to say thanks to all you guys for posting in this thread and having already answered about every question I had about Van Wyk. Has been a great resource while researching and looking for a new company that fit what I wanted to do/be as a driver.
Talked to Tim this morning and I did get an offer and will be in Sheldon tomorrow night (5/23) and start my orientation with Van Wyk on Thursday. Really looking forward to this next step in my life and can't wait to start.
Again, thanks for this thread and I hope to continue posting and chatting with you all.

Hey guys,
Pretty sure I saw one of those nice new 780's you have in your fleet last Friday in Elk Grove Village, IL pulling into the little 3 bay quick lube/washout place. If it wasn't a brand new one, it sure was maintained really nice. Great change of pace from the local junk and Transx trucks that look like they've hit a moose. -
You can tell if they're the new ones by the spot mirrors on the hood. If they're circular, they're the old fogies. If they're the rectangular ones on the big plastic posts, they're new. Also, the new ones are going to be in the 800s for truck numbers.
@huskerfan: Welcome aboard.
Personally on my way to Wakefern in Keaseby for a Thursday delivery. We'll see what the backhaul is like. -
Hawk, yup really boring but had no problem keeping awake as the sun was in my eyes and the wind was blowing me all over. So picked up in Chitown, 2 stops at Grace, looks like masonary compound in large tubs going to Sioux Falls in the morn'. Thought I would make it all the way but thx to traffic on 290 it didn't happen, so camping out in Worthington Mn, yes I'm up wind, blowing from the west.
Welcome aboard Huskerfan

Her Larry, when you go the RCVR in Sioux Falls don't even bother checking in at the office. Go down to the end building and back into door 21 or 22, this coming from the cool old dude that will unload. From what he says they are waiting for a restock before it is even ordered so they usually need it. Oh man, I see we have another Beg Red fan in the ranks! Welcome aboard!

Thanks Rob, my gps tells me to get on 229 and exit at #9 Benson Rd.,Potsdam and then 39th. They had me scheduled for an 8am, but Jay said they would like it at 7, I'm thinking 730. What a bunch on losers that broker has working there, they failed to give me the 2nd. address which I got my the dock guy at the 51st. street location. Once again thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.
