Personally i like the 660, the 700 & 680 look kinda.....weird without the visor over tne windshield.

I was talking to Dean on Sunday and there is a Gremlin living in the dash of that new T680 wreaking all kindsof havoc with the electrical system. They have been trying to trouble shoot it for the past two weeks with no solution in sight. I guess since it is such a new model and we are the first ones in the area to have one we are the guinea pigs to work the bugs out! Ended up doing a 34 at the yard this weekend and helped out covering some regional loads since we had quite a few drivers on hometime for the holiday. Just got the combos of bacon kicked off at Cloverleaf in Fairmont that they have been waiting for since last week from Ottumwa. Probably ending up making another trip to Chicago for the week which is always a grand destination!

Yeah, guys, it's not a T700. We have one T680 that's brand new, I think it's number 849. If you look closely (which is hard at 65mph) it's got a narrower cab than the 700 and some other quirks that make it the younger brother of the 660 rather than the son of the 2000.

    T700

    T680

Personally, I'm pretty impressed with some of the features on the 680. Of all things, I think I like the new dash layout the best.

Thanks, mushroom, i been here a couple weeks, so far so good, just a couple hangups i've had, been getting myself too spoiled the last few years with the dry van stuff, and just getting used to the pros & cons of refrigerated hauling again, but the money is already better than what i was getting before. Plus its nice not sitting for hours or days between loads, except for when i'm at home, lol.

Well today was a bit rough...

    Delivered to fred meyers fine.

When I got to Costco, apparently my airhose got snagged when I backed into staging (on the storage rack, i think) and it sprung a big leak... got to my door slowly (50ish psi) and unloaded then the shop sent a guy out to fix it. So that took an extra couple hours.

Anyways, I got a load out of Culver, Or tomorrow, headed to Hyvee in Cherokee delivering Friday

day over. time for the next.

Hope all is well with you guys, Drive safe

And Mushroom, thanks! and welcome back to the thread. lol

on a plus side. central oregon is just beautiful and the drive down from portland was very scenic

    whew.

I slightly see the difference, i seen it coming onto 287 yesterday from 80 and thought it was a T700, actually i thought it was one of the Van Wyk's who had that Peterbilt and gave it to Leah and got another truck. Not really impressed, don't care much for the T700, as it's the spawn of the T2000 which i also thought was POS..

and Saigena i found the source of the coolant leak, turns out it was a couple of lose hoses and clamps, i had lost about a half a gallon over night from it dripping at a fitting.. took it to the KW dealer in MA and supposedly they got it cleaned up. Tim told me it was going to be some Bugs, i guess i'm starting to find out...

I am curious as to what in store for me as far as a truck....I don't expect the newest machine on the lot....and I don't really care... as long as it isnt a shop queen...i remember my first truck with roehl...the thing had almost 800k on the odometer......but pulled good with an old cummins...and a ten speed...i am stooked to be moving from a training company....
