You're probably better off talking to either Andy or Dean down in the shop, those are the two I choose to work with when I have questions pertaining to issues. Was the truck running when you were crawling around under there? If it wasn't it would be hard to find a leak in the exhaust system from the lack of smoke. FYI guys, if you're out and VA and need a service push to go into Valley Fleet in Stephens City. I just did mine there this morning and I must say I'm quite impressed. In & out in less than 45 minutes and they didn't leave grease smeared all over my truck which is a BIG pet peeve of mine! The mechanic even had me help with the light check which was fine, but he said he did this because he was covered in grease and didn't want to get the inside of my cab dirty. Needless to say as of now I will not be so reluctant to do a service when I'm out in this neck of the woods. I would venture to say Mushroom that you'll either be going do Annheuiser or Cargill, both of which you have my sympathy! As far as detention issues with RDC loads there is a number in the load notes for Sysco Inbound Traffic which you can call but their hours are from 0700 to 1800 Central. Most of the time though I will just call Blanca in Sheldon since she does most of the Midwest to RDC work and she takes care of it the next morning, but make sure to get Sharon Vreeman involved also so she can get you some $$$ for detention. Ended up getting an HP Hood to Target in Cedar Falls for Saturday morning and hoping for a nice & quiet ride back! How have you guys faired with the 72 hour CVSA Road Check this year?

Well. Getting my break in South Bend, 4am appt at Supervalu in Melrose Park. Hoping to get something back to sheldon, the trailer I picked up at us cold storage has a bad reefer battery, won't even let me put in on cycle.... Not sure what my load out of Chicago will be, hopefully something decent.
So far I have a been a spectator of the Road Checks this year. Thank goodness because I have been strapped for time all week.
Have a good weekend and drive safe guys. -

Just want to say hello to everyone on this site! Looks like I will be joining the party next week in Sheldon. I am getting picked up Sunday to go to Waynesboro. From there head to Sheldon for orientation. Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting a truck to get going. I've read just about every page here and it sounds like it is a great place to hang your hat and call home. Don't let my years of experience fool you, I'm not to old to learn from some of you younger guys! I'm easy going and if a guy with 2 years of trucking can teach me something new I'm all for it. Some old dogs can learn new tricks. As for my username that is my hobby FAST MOPARS! See you guys in Sheldon.
