Got my truck assignment of #767 but drug tests didn't come back today. Mic and I are back the hotel for the night.

 

I've been there once a week for the past 2 months.. Shortest time ever was 4 hours after appointment. Oh well, Good thing with Van Wyk. I can at least avoid them for the most part.

Great news guys (except for the drug test being slow part).. Hopefully you like the Kenworth's.

I'm hoping to be in Sheldon by mid morning if you guys are still around I will holler at ya.

 

Back in the saddle,got a 3 stop load that finals out in Bartow,FL on friday morning not a fan of going since I know the load outta there is gonna pay slave wages.Maybe I will be pleasantly suprised.....lol not.

 

whats the other two stops on the truck?? Douglasville GA and Tampa??... and have you been to Bartlow before?? Kinda of a little tight turn by the Graveyard but good running none-less.. I guess there won't be no freight going south next week huh??

I'm curious tho of why we don't have more lanes in the south anyway...

 

Too hot and the help is too slow! That's been my experience at least. Good food though. I miss Zaxby's, Spinx buffalo chicken wraps, and of course, Southern Comfort in Conley, GA (right next to Central's terminal

Starting to get in a groove over here, now we just need some more loads! Take home pay would offend you big VW truckers, but it doesn't help that I'm doing 401k and insurance now, and I accidentally went for 0 exemptions instead of 1. Fortunately I was able to change that online. Of course going local I'm missing out on per diem too!

 

offend as in good or bad?? i figure you J.B. can haulers make around 800 after taxes... that's not bad being home everyday especially hauling cans!

Got sent up here to rochester at the genny beer place, apointment wasnt till 1700 but hoping i can fit the 8 hr sleeper in so i can make philly by morning, (0630) , hoping i have some hours left of my 11hrs so i can get back out of that area.

 

Any of you guys rolling into Front Royal this afternoon stop by the holding lot and say howdy! I'm not going to be rolling out until 1615 or so then heading up to Half Moon. Do they mind if you come in a few hours early and hang out until your appointment? I know we have a drop TRLR up there but I'm sure it'll be gone by the time I get up there. After that I get the pleasure of loading some suds over in Rochester then taking that over to Minneapolis for Monday morning sometime.

 

SHIDDDDD!!!! ####... One of the guys i run with over here gave a guy a ride back to the Bordentown Petro last week said he was leaving for a job with New Century, local gig making 21.50 an hour... might want to check that out
