Saienga, I would've done the same thing. It looks to me it says any door from 7 to 9. All you can do is smile and nod, and get in your truck and call him a #*(%)(&@ and keep it moving. LOL

Actually, this is my first time running this, I'll probably park there at mcclane if there is room, usually i assume there isn't parking at a place if i haven't been there before, I've run into a few places where the qc direction said overnight ;parking available, only to notice new signs telling me otherwise when i got there. I think that's mostly mostly because some of these places did allow it until some slob went in there and dumped pee bottle, bags of #### and what ever else on the parking lot. As i was exiting the guard station coming out of wally world dc sunday, one of the drivers ahead of me got out of his truck, stepped into the space between his cab of the trailer, and proceeded to relieve himself right there in the driveway, right in front of the guards....i bet that really helped the truck driver's image...

Ewwww....well you can definitely park at McLane. There is plenty of parking, and there wont be many trucks there...maybe 5 or 6. You can check in early at 5:30am and they get you into a door. It will cost $50 to unload. So you can get a efs check now or you can wait if you want. They are pretty laid back there at McLane, at least they always have been with me. also they have bolt cutters for your seal. You just have to leave your license with the receiving window until you bring the bolt cutters back. Usually they put me in door 2. I would suggest getting something to eat before you get there. They do leave the receiving office doors open so you can use the vending machines and the restroom, which is pretty #### clean. But nothing good in the snack machines, well nothing that suited me except maybe the cheetohs lol
slowpoke89 Thanks this. -
Sounds good, I'll most likely do that, i figure I'll stop somewhere along the way, i might sneak through front royal and down to i-66 to get in there, this one is gonna be heavy, and I've never cared for that traffic or the scale at the dc beltway . I still had that request in for this weekend, and i guess they plan on me running down to va and back since i have to get home by sometime friday. I got all day booked for saturday and sunday at alfred state for that motorcycle course, so i booked the lodging for friday evening so i'm not getting up for a 2 hour drive the very morning of class.

Well it only took Reser's in Topeka 7hrs to load me,just as I suspected so I lost some time but still should be back in front royal by tomorrow afternoon. Called in this morning about detention didn't know we have a new girl Tiffany handling that now,she said this was her 2nd week, seemed nice enough.

Yeah I always take 81 down through front royal to get to mclane. I don't like the 495 traffic either and I live in the arae! LOL

17/86 Back east to Binghamton, down 81 to 66 is really the fastest and even the most convenient route.. if your going back over through Baltimore and DC your really going out the way.. Mclane sits 20 miles from the Beltway so you don't have to worry fooling with that..

Unloaded a two stop brokered load in Sioux Falls, SD today and then ran down to Dakota City for preload. Sitting at the Pilot in Sioux City now. Headed to Fort Wayne, IN for Thursday and Abingdon, VA for Friday morning. I really need to be home Monday so I hope they have a backhaul ready for me Friday morning.
Mic, sorry to hear but I know from what you've shared with me that you expected this sooner or later. -
I think ill take that route next time..i went down 220 to rte 6, down pa 29 and 309 to get to i 81....basically beating the #### out of myself, i now remember why i hated rte 6 so much lol

Here at Sheldon, getting them to check out all the issues with the truck such as:
Check Engine Light, Traction Control Light keeps coming on, Power Mirrors not working, Drivers seat wobbles back and forth, Drivers right arm rest is jacked up, and she pulls to the right randomly at times.
Let's hope I'm not here all day. They do have it in the shop already, so we'll see how long it takes to get me out of here. Bad thing is there aren't any empty trucks here so it's not like they can swap me out. And if there are empties here, I didn't see them and they are hiding them! LOL Hope to get something good heading back east, but definitely going to ask to come back west again. I really enjoyed the drive out here.
