Oh my. Sorry to hear that. I think I only had the pleasure of talking to him once. Before that I didn't even know about him!

I have (540) 946-7830 for the Waynesboro office.

Sitting at home...I had to take the chains off my truck so someone else could use them...I am guessing I will have to dig for some when I decide to go out again...

So I assume that's why we got the Fleetwide Message about chains yesterday huh?? I remember some was in my Peterbilt when I first got em, Dean asked me "You need these chains to run the Northwest" I replied "Not a Chance in Hell"

Lol hawk, that's why i decided to stick to running between midwest and east! I fought my way through all the snow & ice yesterday between fremont, in and waterloo, ny, ny between there & buffalo was a mess. Not quite the progress i made when i screamed out of dakota city and got to fremont thursday. Sitting in syracuse waiting to get unloaded, then going home. I'm gonna take all interstate, maybe 90 and 390 to my parking spot, nysdot doesn't do a thing to clear the 2 lane roads anymore unless a few people get killed....except they have no problem getting out the truck inspection vans just so they can nab us for those stupid tax stickers..oh well, a bit slow unloading today, but for some reason i'm not even caring, at least hopefully they will have the roads cleared by the time i get out! :biggrin_2559:

Im on my way to long island....then to elizabeth to finish unloading...but right now taking a break in PA im about 3 hours out from my first stop in long island...which doesn't deliver til 1400 tomorrow...problem is the Long Island Expressway is closed indefinately and about 6 miles of cars are stranded on it due to a blizzard.....which tells me I may not make it on time....I already called in to give a heads up on that cause I can't find a legal way to get to farmingdale without using the LIE.....

I normally don't take NY loads cause I really dislike New England and the North east overall....but the $$$ was too good to pass up and I would have been laughed out of the office if I would have rejected it....hopefully i can get a pickup at cold storage in south plainfield back to Sioux city...that would make up for Josh's shenanagins from last week.....

sitting at the lombardi in Jersey...have a delivery in elizabeth in the morning...hopefully I will get something out of halls going back to cloverleaf in Sioux City...but with my luck I probably have to go and pick something up in the middle of manhattan that goes to downtown chicago...LOL (that would be my luck)....

NYC wasn't bad today traffic was extremely light and most of the roads were clear....long island got pounded though...big big snow piles on the corner with maybe one lane open to the side streets but the major thru roads were nice and clean....although I did bang up the fancy trailer skirt making a right turn because the snow was so fricken deep.....even my stop had the nice snow plow hill I had to open with the critter gitter on the bumper so I could get in....had to take a couple runs cause the trailer would get stuck in the snow even with the power divider locked in...but i got her in there....and out of the city...next stop more jersey!!

Sitting in ben salem pa....at my next pickup....first one went without a hitch...this one though....god I hate brokered freight....I remember mike telling me we sell our soul with loads going bqck west from the east coast...but we are basically PAYING to haul this load....lets just say this load would be better suited for the mega carriers..like swift...its right up their alley for cheap...and I mean cheap freight....I will just say I can make more on a short run tan I can hauling this junk..

Got out of the house, picked up in friendship, ny and ran down to jessup for the usual 4am drop, checked in into the guard at about 11:30 last nite, i don't think he even bothered looking at the paperwork...tried to check in again about 03:45, different guard, he's looking at his favorite porno site as i walk up to the door, he just opens it, tells me he'll come get me, and slams the door shut- again, doesn't even look at my paperwork . Its now getting past my appointment and nothing...any other time, they've gotten me right into the dock no problem...finally got into a dock just after the appointment time, but 4 hours later, still they haven's started, turns out the lumpers can't even get to my trailer because the receiver still hasn't bothered to count and remove the previous deliveries from the floor...what a joke this warehouse is.
