Vaping Nicotine to Stay Awake

You could just as well smoke cigarettes as vape I'm pretty sure the same nasty chemicals in smokes are in vape juice.

 

Probably worse.

 

I don't know if I'd say that cigarettes have some nasty stuff in them, doesn't make me like them any less.

 

If you have problems sleeping, find another job, we have enough people who can't stay awake on the road.

 

there is ZERO proof that is true. however, if you currently are not using nicotine i don't necessarily recommend starting. nicotine itself without smoke is not proven to cause harm, but it will be an addiction. vaping WILL dehydrate you, you will drink more water..... and if you are OTR you will have to urinate more. that is a realistic expectation. i have been vaping since before vaping was really a thing, before that i smoked like a chimney. if it wasnt for vaping i would still be smoking.

the vaping and dehydration thing is not a far out possibility but i would say a factual side effect. i drive locally, so going to the bathroom is a non-issue. i could see it being a real concern for someone who has to drive for 7-8 hours in a single sitting.

 

i couldn't sleep in the back of a truck, but i sleep just fine at home....my solution, stay local sleep at home.

 

On the DMV test, one of the obvious wrong answers to this question about keeping yourself awake : C: Ingest amphetamines or some other type of stimulant... or something to this effect. I am not joking. This was in California.

 

Vape juice has 3 ingredients: propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin & flavoring. There's no combustion to break them down.... way too early to determine negative health effects from said ingredients, but on the face of it, it appears to be better than smoking & it's an alternative that has helped a bunch of people curb or quit tobacco... still not as good as fresh air, but it's gotta be better, I'd think.

you can make your own juice..... buy a gallon of VG, a gallon of PG, flavoring extract, nicotine extract, syringes without needles to measure quantities in ML..... download a juice making ap off of android and you can make your own juice for pennies on the dollar..... its actually cheap to vape that way.
