Vax for truckers to enter into the US from Canada?

I am surprised on why you don’t understand the fact that you do you I’ll do me.

why does the burden fall on me to keep you safe?

Why aren’t you responsible for your actions?

why do you get to tell me what to do so that you can feel safe but not me tell you what to do?

why is it always someone else’s responsibility for my life liberty and pursuit of happiness?

 

What happened to human Decency in our society ? Everyone is so caught up in their own shiet this is why the world is going to garbage.

All I see you do in my opinion is sit on the floor in your baby bonnnet crying,


“ME ME ME ME ME, YOU DO YOU ILL DO ME ME ME, WAAAAa”

It’s so sad the world can’t even come together on such an easy issue.

 

You do realize both sides are asking this same question, right?

 

How do we determine who’s right and wrong in this situation?

 

That's the easy part.

We don't.

 

Here's one example of why people like me don't have any faith in the vaccine:

Vermont is currently the highest vaxxed state in the nation. They're also currently experiencing more cases than they ever have in the history of the pandemic.

Texas and Florida have been resisting all mandates and doing their own thing since the beginning. They currently have almost the lowest cases in the entire country, and they are also both only right around 50% vaxxed.

The vaccine is supposed to lessen symptoms and keep people alive. The virus kills old people. Our 65+ population is 93% one dose, and 85% two doses. So they are covered. There's nobody for me to "protect".

So why would I bother with a vaccine?

This isn't me debating the point with you. This is me giving you an example of why I personally will not get it, and I'm sure I speak for many others.

We must be getting our information from different places.

 

People don't get it. No one is saying that you can't get the vaccines. If YOU choose. People have the right to make the choice. But forcing people to get it or loose their job is a power grab. People try to use having to get a driver's license. They fail to understand. Driving is not a right. It's a privilege. Making medical choices. Is a right.

First they told you. "Get the vaccines. It'll protect you. Then they told you. "Your neighbors need to be vaccinated to protect you. Now it's. "It won't protect you. But you 'should' live through it."

Already gave a perfect example. BiL is in a fully vaccinated community. He still caught it.

So when public figures say, "I have the right to kill you with my COVID." Belittling people who value their rights. They are VERY disingenuous.

 

Vermont is 70% vaccinated with 39 cases per 100k.

Texas and Florida are right at 50% vaccinated, with 11 cases per 100k. In the first screenshot, the far right column is two doses. The second from the right is one dose. This is from the CDC.
