VED 12 05 electric visco fan first gear wont kick in

    ECM has fan speed input, If fan is too low ECM corrects its speed, if out of range - throws code

    i see now. ive just put in new termistat today still everheats. got to replace radiator which was put in may 2014

    Yes, look under Vehicule information tab, for the engine ECU you will see numbers for: ECU Hardware and Software numbers Data Set 1, Data Set 2 numbers and then you will see engine sub-System: look for On-Off air fan OR Viscus Fan you cannot have both in the same Ecu check which one is selected inside of your ECU.
