I am a vegas local, and I am looking for a good CB tuner in town that is reasonable with their pricing. If anyone can help please come foward.

would you consider $30 reasonable?
if so you can buy an SWR meter and it will probably come with instructions, i know radioshack ones do.... that way you dont need to rely on someone else....
also if you dont need it again return it!

well I was toying with the idea of a tuned steel whip, if they even make such a thing for CBs, I know they do for UHF freqs.

well you gotta be careful, a lot of CB antennas are advertised to be tuned.... its tuned for the freq's your going to be talking on it, but its not tuned to the vehicle. its not ll that difficult to tune an antenna.

Yeah I know what your saying.
when we used to run UHF radios in the work trucks we had to go to a shop, they hooked some equipment to the radio and the antenna and then removed our antenna and trimmed the whip according to their measurements... the shop was crescent communications, but I don't believe they are still in business. -
did you ever find a good place in vegas?
