Well after getting completely frustrated over the years with hit or miss WiFi I decided to step up to the 4G hotspot. Not a bad deal actually, I got 12gig of shared data for an additional $40/mo. Nice little write off on the taxes at the end of the year. I will post how well it works over time.

I was in my local Verizon store yesterday to pay my bill and the salesman tried to talk me into one of those Ellipsis tablets. They were having a special were they where giving them out for free at $10 a month extra with a 2 year contract. I passed because I really have no need for it. I can do everything that thing does on my Blackberry Bold 9930.

I have Verizon jetpack 8g which is suppose to share with my phone but instead Verizon sends me 2 separate bills with an additional 10 g on my phone. So right now they're reworking the bill and hopefully hear something tomorrow. If not by the afternoon,im going back to the store and see if they heard anything.

It's a very good unit. I've had mine for almost 2 yrs. just wish they would give me more gigs.

Millenicom (sp?) uses verizon towers. 4g LTE 20 gigs $69.99 no contract. $99 for the equipment.
-
89.99 now...they are rooster suckers and raised the price. O yea, dont forget the 50 dollar activation fee. Still, they are the cheapest for 20 gigs on the v network so i use um.
(But i still have a bad taste in my mouth about um raising the price....I know im a hypocrite, i just posted in another thread that complaining doesn't help and that we should embrace change lol)
Edit, No pun intended with your name, i was using rooster as a replacement for male genitalia when referring to milenicom. -
have the mifi 5510 works like a charm.

Works fine.. -
