https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...e-customers-than-ever/?utm_term=.0f134a968ac3. Serves them right. They keep gouging their customers they'll keep losing them.I dropped them 2 weeks ago after yrs of service .Right now they have my service suspended and got a letter yesterday saying if I pay the full amount now they'll take $20.00 off the bill and reconnect me.Am I suppose to jump for joy I think. not.I'm done with Verizon for good. They overcharged me for the last time

    Haha..
    Wss reading that this morning.

    That's great news.
Maybe they will lower their prices.
    I love competition.

I'm keeping them until someone can compete with their service. (and I don't mean customer service).

Been with Sprint now for 9 years, and will stay there. Verizon doesn't work in my town because the closest tower is 23 miles away. I get good service wherever I go. And in places where Verizon doesn't work my sprint phone does.

There are tricks to get a better price at Verizon. I resigned as a 'no contract' at a lower than advertised price. There are benefits as a 'no contract' customer if you talk to the right person i.e. better cell tower coverage than say Straight Talk even though Straight Talk pays to use Verizon towers, promotional benefits, etc. I don't like Verizon but I decided to stay with them which I had not intended to do.

Verizon charged me for a plan I didn't want because the lady I spoke with misunderstood me am hr later I go to my Verizon online and that plan is there I call Verizon and told them I didn't want that plan I wanna lower my bill not raise it and they still charged me for that month and that's not the first time. Then they charged me $10.00 for one 411 search.I finished my 2 year contract for jetpack like a good loyal customer and they still charged a disconnect fee.I had my bill payment date changed and was charged for that. They charge a $3.00 card fee if you pay your bill at the store.I finally had it.I do have straight talk and I'm very satisfied.

Left my Verizon no-contract jetpack for a T-Mobile one. Saved 40 per cent. I now get 14 gigs for $51 per month, no contract on my wifi hotspot. It's faster and works better in remote places, too!

I figure if I want wify I'll go to McDonalds a mile way and use there's.So once my contract was ended all I saved was $12.00 a month having that extra number removed but every dollar adds up.I still used my data on the phone. But I got sick of all the hidden added fees when I wanted my plan changed to something cheaper. Then when I called and told them to disconnect my service immediately they didn't that went on and on for 3 weeks. This last time bugging them to turn off my service I waited on the phone till its done took them less then a minute.

    quatto Thanks this.
