Anybody else having a lot of issues Texting in some places seemingly randomly.

At times it takes 5-15+ minutes to send a single text.
Usually when it gives me fits, Pictures seem to work just fine.

Every time I call them they act like I'm the only one with that problem.
I know for a fact a friend of mine has the same issue.

So wondering if anybody else has problems with theirs at times?

My girl friend had issues with her IPhone 5 with Verizon. She uninstalled Facebook and all is well since. Might be worth a try if you use FB.

I've had some issues sporadically with texts not sending for a few minutes. It seems to happen regardless of if I have good cell signal or not.I don't text often and nothing I send is usually time sensitive so always chalked it up to area, terrain and cell tower.

Make sure you're using SMS messaging and not MMS messaging if you're only sending small text messages. Also power cycle your phone and allow the phone to re-register on the network.

Make sure you haven't gone in to network settings an made undesirable changes there. In a "bad area", messaging will be slowed, even MMS but if that happens in many areas, sounds like maybe your phone is maybe "roaming" when it should not be. Again, power off, remove the battery if you can for a minute, then power back on.

I have that issue and I am connected via Wi-Fi to my home network. Texting takes a long time.

I'm usually connected to my other Phone via Wifi (Hotspot) but that doesn't seem to affect it/make a difference.

I have had my Sim Card Switched out a few times; No Effect.
I have had it happen with different phones.
I don't usually send time sensitive text messages, but 5-10mins + is a little ridiculous.

A lot of times Incoming works but Outgoing take forever.

there are a lot of glitches with a lot of verizon phones. and to think they charge the most for their services that are limited. \
    \
my pet peeves are their stinginess for root, texts coming through 2 and 3 times. and gps functioning only when it feels like it. along with other glitches.

i've never had a problem with sprint and their phones. can't wait to get off the road and back to them.

i have a sprint note 2 and a verizon note 2. sprint model runs circles around verizon model.

i've NEVER had a good quality model with verizon.

I used to get texts 4 times only on 4gLTE.
I called a couple times and asked them why wasn't given a good reason, they knew nothing.
Haven't had any trouble with GPS except on one phone where GPS Chip is broken (bough Phone used).

    Had a
    Motorola Citrus (total junk)
    Motorola Droid Bionic (50% junk)
Samsung Galaxy S3 (New) No problems with it.
Samsung Galaxy S3 (used - lots of issues)
Samsung Galaxy S4 (New) No problems with it.
LG Lucid 2 (nothing but problems with this phone, replaced under warranty at least 10 times)

just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Very happy with it.
Got it from Amazon WH Deals.

I have 2 Active Lines for myself.
One of them I'm using my GS3 with Unlimited Data as Hotspot only. (that's where I'm using the 'used' GS3)
The other is now my Note 3 which I use for everything else.

I have a rooted and ROMed LG G3 with unlimited data. I had a Moto X 2013 Developer Edition, that was also rooted and ROMed. With the LG I tend to "lose service" quiet often even though I May show full 3g or 4g signal. The Moto never "lost service" in those same areas. I have found that toggling data roaming off and on as a"fix it". A Samsung Galaxy Nexus that I had before the Moto X also had the same "service" issues.

Are your textes short or long?Don't make them into a letter but only a couple sentences and make sure you have good service.I sent my puke face ex bf one long text and it never did get sent so I broke it up into parts.
